PICKLE.

Born and raised in Essex, UK, Private Pickle was a child of the UK Garage generation.

DJing since the age of 14, music played a fundamental part of his upbringing. The late teens saw him displaying an eclectic mix of UK Garage, Drum & Bass and Hip Hop on local pirate radio Private Pickle Casbah Cairnsstations.

Always holding DJing and moreover music as a core interest, it was 14 years after gracing his first set of Technic 1210 turntables that Private Pickle decided to make a life change from a successful city job in London to pursue his dreams of travel and music. Before departing the UK to travel the world, Pickle became a regular name at a local bar, played several private mansion parties and co-produced and played at events in Essex (support for Secondcity, UK) and East London (headlining b2b with Woody2Shoes, UK).

Since arriving to Australia in the early part of 2014 Pickle has traveled the majority of the country energising himself with creativity and grounding his true purpose. He earned a 4 week feature at Casbah in Cairns, QLD where he played alongside one of London based duo Syncretic. He spent 7 months in Sydney immersed in self-taught music production before journeying through central Australia and WA to finally settle in the beautiful Margaret River.

A travelling experience to change him forever, Pickle explored both the beauty without and the darkness within. A bitter taste of self-exploration has left him truly liberated with a passion for purpose.
